AMX Mode Switching Enhancement

AMX Mode Switching Enhancement

Rex,

Question. Could you possibly devise a way to change the mode better in AMX?

Had an idea for you: maybe a way to change the mode in amx without having to go deep into the menu. You could create two icons on home screen once amx is installed, one to get into amx as we can today. Another could be an icon that when clicked on, would just pop up a window that would let you choose which mode to be in. Eventually you could put scheduling and whatnot in the mode setting so that you could then define blocks of time when you are in certain modes and change yourself in and out, etc.

This is an extension of an older post I am trying to redig up hopefully: viewtopic.php?f=29&t=459&p=1555&hilit=switch+mode#p1555

AMX 2008 needs to be AMX 2010 soon. So how about this?

If you are running 2010.x.x.x on 4.7 or higher, you should have a "Set Mode" icon on your toolbar.

Yeah but you have to go into AMX to get to it. Rather than do that, could you also put an icon on the home screen / ribbons on the blackberry as well? That way instead of having to launch AMX, you can change mode without having to go in.

Just a thought.
